ACCA - ASSOCIATION OF CHARTERED CERTIFIED ACCOUNTANTS 



The ACCA is an internationally recognized accountant body. It is considered one of the most reputed qualifications in the accountancy sector in every country. It is a high-level professional qualification. The ACCA qualification includes business from financial statements, management accounting , and business taxation & law to audit and business ethics. It is accepted globally relevant and industry relevant which gives a great platform for students to make theirs in accounts and finance. 



ELIGIBILITY

If you want to pursue ACCA then 


- The candidate should be at least 18 years of age and must complete 10+2.

- Minimum of 65 % is required in maths and English or accounts in 12th exams.

-candidate should have 50 % in other subjects. 



SCOPE 

If we talk about salary package so 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs is starting package for fresher as an ACCA.

  • ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

  • FINANCIAL EXECUTIVE

Keeps records of financial statements supervise tax payments and maintains accounts. 

The average salary package is INR 3 lakhs.


  • CHIEF FINANCIAL EXECUTIVE 

The senior leader is liable for dealing with the monetary activities of an organization.

The average salary package is INR 3.5 - 4 lakhs.


  • ACCOUNTING MANAGER 

Develops and implements systems for gathering, analyzing, verifying, and reporting certain types of financial information.

The average salary package is INR 5.5 lakhs.


  • FINANCE OFFICER 

Oversees bookkeeping exercises, including bank compromises, creditor liabilities, and records receivable.

The typical compensation bundle is INR 3 lakhs.


  • BUSINESS ANALYST 

Analyzes an organization or business domain and document its business, processes, or systems, and assess the business model and its integration with technology.

The average salary package is INR 3.5 lakhs.



SUBJECTS

The ACCA syllabus consists of 13 papers divided into four levels: Knowledge – 

3 papers, 

Skills – 6 papers, 

Essentials – 2 papers, 

Options – 2 papers from 4. 



Knowledge 


This module, which includes papers AB (F1) to FA (F3), is the starting point on your way to achieving your ACCA qualification. Whenever you've passed each of the 3 papers, you can forge ahead to the ACCA Skills module.

  • Management Accounting (MA)

  • Financial Accounting (FA)


Knowledge Exemptions


On the off chance that you are AAT, FIA or CAT qualified or hold a pertinent degree (e.g. Accountancy, Finance, Law, or Management) then you may be eligible for exemptions from the Knowledge level. You should apply for exceptions through ACCA when you register with ACCA as an understudy.


Computer Based Exams


  • Available all year round (subject to availability)

  • Objective test and multi-task questions

  • 2-hour exam with a pass characteristic of 50%

  • Computer Based Exams consist of objective exam questions and multi-task questions (MCQs). MCQs contain a series of tasks for students to complete, tasks that relate to one or more scenarios.

  • Exams are also available at other ACCA-approved centers.


Skill Level


The Applied Skills exams expand on existing information and understanding and foster solid, wide, and pragmatic money abilities expected of future vital expert bookkeepers in any area or industry. These exams are:


  • Corporate and Business Law (LW)

  • Performance Management (PM)

  • Taxation (TX)

  • Financial Reporting (FR)

  • Audit and Assurance (AA)

  • Financial Management (FM)

Professional Level

Students should finish the two Essentials exams and pick two of the Options. These exams are:

COURSE FEE

The ACCA course expenses can go from INR 20,000 to 2,50,000.

ACCA Entrance Exams

ACCA does not have any entrance exams, but some universities  conduct entrance exams for admission .here are some universities :

 

- Christ University conducts the CUET  exam.

- Symbiosis University conducts the SET exam. 

- Sharda University conducts the SUAT exam. 

- All India Management Association conducts the AIMA UGAT exam.
